Sabbath, June 13, 2009--Links to Prior Reports

Sabbath School: Sabbath morning was beautiful and clear with many happy souls coming to worship God as camp meeting approaches. We have been blessed this week to have some precious souls come to be with us and to help with the camp pitch and their addition to our Sabbath School was a great blessing. Our Sabbath School began with prayer by Brother John Otis from Florida. Our song service was led by Sister Elyssa Sims. Pastor Stump had our devotional on the need to have high standards in our music and how music and song are a form of worship. Brother Michael Woodward then led our testimonies and praise followed by prayer by Pastor David Sims.

The Sabbath School lesson continued a study on stewardship and discussed some of the specifics about the “storehouse.”

We have one more country in our list of the areas we are praying for and we have left if for last: State of the Vatican City.

Worship Service: The worship hour began with prayer and the song “All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name.” The children’s story was presented by Pastor David Sims, who shared some of his experiences from their recent trip to Central America and of God’s watchfulness over them.

The message entitled, “The study of the Mind” was presented by Pastor Elvis Alberto, and he shared an outline of the messages on the human mind that he will be giving at the camp meeting. Brother Alberto will be sharing at the morning meetings Wednesday through Friday.

After the service, the church enjoyed a nice fellowship meal, and then we supported the Pacific Virtual Church service as Brother Sims spoke from the Smyrna Chapel on unbelief.

Camp Meeting: This week! Remember the dates are June 16-20. Please listen to all of the messages you can. They will all be broadcasted and we know that they will be a blessing to all who can listen.
